the no. 1 private telecom operator has launched unlimited internet pack in its mobile, which has "limited" data volume for 3G. According to the company, the cost of the pack starts from Rs 699 (without taxes) which has 1GB unlimited data valid for 30 days i.e. customers can get 3G speed until the 1 GB volume remain but can surf internet in 2G speed for the remaining period afterwards. To subscribe this service, customers have to dial *17125#.
They even have other higher data volume pack with this offer, which costs Rs 1900 for 5 GB and Rs 2999 for 10 GB.
Though it is named as an unlimited pack, it is not a true unlimited offer as it has limitation of the data volume. Ncell is very canny at marketing, which sometimes annoys customers for the "but" and "conditions apply" tricks in the offers. It is quite notable that Ncell has launched this offer on the very day when NT is celebrating its anniversary. We can say age of fierce competition has begun, all good for customers though.
