Ncell- the private GSM operator has brought new package for browsing Facebook. With the new package, customers can browse Facebook in their mobile with some fixed data that can be used either daily, weekly or monthly, depending on the package. Customers can update status, chat, message, upload pictures and videos, watch Facebook videos (and not the ones from YouTube or other third-party sites), check-ins, like, comment and share status, pictures and videos from the package.
Daily Facebook pack consisting of 10 MB per day, costs Rs 9 (without taxes), whereas Weekly pack (of 70 MB) costs Rs 49 (without taxes) and Monthly pack (300 MB) costs Rs 149 (without taxes).
The pack can be used using authentic apps downloaded from App Store and Play Store on your mobile phone. Even Facebook messenger for iOS and Android is valid with the pack. For laptop, iPad and other smartphones, the pack can be used via m.facebook.comm but the pack will not work with Opera browser.
The pack is also not valid for the external links that you may click from Facebook, like clicking Youtube Video link shared in Facebook for which the standard charging rates apply but you will be prompted either to continue or cancel.
The standard charging rates are Rs 6 per MB for the low or no packages.
